Full Time Production Stitcher - Sewing Machine Operator

We run industrial single needle, cylinder arm and walking foot Juki’s,  precision cutting equipment and make bags in our sunny storefront in Berkeley, CA. We specialize in high performance, water resistant, heavy materials: Cordura, XPac and waxed canvas.

We are looking for someone with sewn products manufacturing experience.

We are willing to train someone with adjacent skill sets, production line experience or a sensibility for making things, i.e. food, ceramics, furniture, carpentry.

We look for the following in potential candidates:

• An understanding of machinery & materials
• Fine motor skills
• A strong attention to detail
• Self sufficiency
• Reliability
• Experience with industrial sewing machines is desirable, but not required. We will train the right person.

A successful candidate will learn quickly, be able to read the needs of daily production to anticipate where you can add efficiency to the production line, have a very strong attention to detail - and the ability to wield it quickly. We work in a fast paced but comfortable environment. 

You must be able to sit at a machine for hours at a time and be able to anticipate the needs of those you are working alongside.

Full Time
We operate 7 days a week, 9am-6pm and can build your schedule accordingly.
