PART TIME SHIPPING ASSISTANT

OVERVIEW:
We are currently hiring a part-time shipping / final inspection assistant. We ship bags all over the world and are looking for someone very organized, with a high attention to detail to make sure the right bags are inside each and every package.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Prepping, pulling and packing orders for shipping
- Utilizing shipping management and e-commerce software
- Adjusting inventory
- Snipping, trimming and turning bags
- Final inspection of bags as they are completed on the production line and before they ship out
SKILLS:
- Basic computer literacy.
- Fine motor skills and great eyesight are required as you will be inspecting stitches, seam structures and fabric quality as bags are finished in our shop.
- Shipping volumes vary from day to day, which means you will be cross trained in non-machine based production side work using basic sewing room tools - scissors, rotary blades, etc.
- Efficiency, organization and a strong attention to detail are requirements for this position.
SCHEDULE:
Monday - Friday
10am - 2pm (great for someone with school aged children!)
PAY:
Starting $24/hr DOE
