Retailer Spotlight: Kinetic Cycles
Right off the American River Trail in Sacramento, Kinetic Cycles is a welcoming place with in-depth knowledge. Their goal is to build an inclusive cycling community and their commitment shows not only through their weekend group rides but through Cody Kaiser, the owner and member of team USA with a national title under his belt. Cody is both a professional cyclocross racer and the definition of all-around good guy. We had a brief chat with him about Kinetic Cycles, check it out below:
What’s the story of Kinetic Cycles?
We started Kinetic out of a love for riding. I grew up racing bicycles and we had an opportunity to turn that passion into our family business. I love that you can feel that love throughout our store and with our customers.
What makes your shop unique?
Our commitment to our customers and the products we sell is what makes us unique. We are always here for our customers with whatever they may need help with, from knowledge on how to tackle their next gravel event with nutrition or pacing, to any bike service they may experience with the some of best mechanics in the business.
What ILE product stands out to you and why?
My standout ILE product is the Race Day Bag. There are countless bags that hold gear but none that make it so convenient for access to shoes, helmets and race day gear.
Also, the first time I walked in to ILE HQ to purchase some stuff and meet Eric, he was passionate about his company and his products and I love that. Handmade products from Northern California is the icing on the cake.
